Our Philosophy
Giving and investing in future generations
“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
Winston Churchill
Proactive Fire was established in June 2016 with a unique philosophy: to run a business that gives back to the community and invests in future generations.
Founder Tristan Woolley saw a need to operate differently after observing inefficiencies in other businesses. He founded Proactive Fire based on the belief that there was a better way to serve clients and society.
What We Do
Proactive Fire aims to address intergenerational issues by sharing profits with charitable organisations and investing in the community. This philosophy is built on three pillars:
- Ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Providing staff with a wage that enables them to succeed.
- Giving ALL the company’s profits back to those less fortunate, specifically:
- Variety
- Youth in Transition
- StarJam
Why We Do It
The Proactive Fire philosophy stems from a belief that we, as human beings, are interconnected.
No one chooses the circumstances of their birth, and many of the challenges people face are beyond their control. By sharing our success, we can help lift others out of difficult situations and support the development of future generations.
When It Started - 2016
The idea of giving back is central to the company’s founding. On Christmas Day 2016, despite having limited funds, Proactive Fire made its first donation, signaling the start of a long-term commitment to charitable giving.
Today, each staff member at Proactive Fire gets to donate $1,000 from company funds to a charity of their own choice annually.
We are proud to offer not just fire services but an opportunity for meaningful change.
